Today was a good day. And by that I mean, it's been a long day. But also good. I usually go to bed at ~7 am, which bothers my family a lot because I sleep all day (like a true author, or so I've read). But today I actually got up around 11 am which was super nice and I got a lot of things done. Me, mom and brother went to a couple of second hand stores which we do sometimes because it's fun and we actually interact with each other. I bought four books today; a baby book (I'm not pregnant), a book with a couple of H.C. Andersens most popular tales, Sole Survivor by Dean Koontz, who is one of my favorite authors, and Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children, by Ransom Riggs.
I really wanted to watch the last one when it was released as a movie in September but at that moment I was living in LA and I was just packing up to get home so I didn't have time to go see it, then when I got home and started to reboot my Swedish life and I just didn't have time. Then time went on and I thought "oh when I have the time to sit down for that long, I'm totally gonna watch it soon", which obviously never happened. So today I bought the book which I intend to read asap, and me and mom finally watched it when we had dinner today, and it was amazing! We asked if my brother Sebastian wanted to watch it with us which he didn't, but about halfway through the movie he joined us with the usual "I'm just gonna see what you're up to, but I might as well sit".
I'm thinking about doing a review, like everybody else, once I've read the book but some short info if you don't know what it is; a 16 year old boy/man finds his grandfather dead and has to follow clues that he left behind to get to a hidden orphanage, where he meets with a couple of "peculiar children" (children with various gifts), and their carer/watcher. The movie is directed by Tim Burton who I have a not so secret crush on, and I really enjoy horror/gothic/thriller so this was just awesome. If you have two hours left to spare then I highly suggest you watch the movie.

After this we packed up the family and our dog Polly and headed for the beach, and it was cold because I live in Sweden, but we had an over-all good time. We also learned that Pollys must be somewhat suicidal because she kept jumping up on a bunker (we have a lot of those on our beaches), and then jumping down which was waaaayy too high for her. Not so nice watching her fall on concrete and then rocks... We took some pictures (like the one above), bought some candy and then headed home.

And now here I am, at home! I'm getting ready for some gaming right after this post, and I wish all of you a good nights sleep and happy writing! ❤️

Weeeell, yesterday I made a mistake that I've done too many times before. I went out in the rain. And I know, this is not very entertaining to read about and that I shouldn't just upload posts for the heck of it but still, better than nothing.

I had to go to a store to pick up some ant poison yesterday because we have ant problems, and it's super gross. Not only did they manage to chew their way through one of our outer walls a couple of years ago, they also invite their lovely friends "flying ants" (I don't know if you call them something different in English but we just call them flying ants here). They are the "maters" of the ants, but they're extremely suicidal which is a great "fun fact" but depressing to know. So both males and females are born with wings and then they're supposed to mate so that a female can leave the colony and become a queen in her own colony, but this rarely happens according to the store I went to. Instead, most females that are born with wings chew them off and pretend to be working ants so they don't get kicked out, and the males are super depressed and just wait to die. They don't eat or anything, instead they just wait until it gets warm enough for them to fly high enough to then basically jump to their death. And that's messed up. They also appear to one live a day or so, but anyways, good riddance in that case.

If you want to read more about them and visit the site I borrowed the picture from then you can go here

Anyways. It was sunny and warm when I left home, I got on the bus, someone talked to me about her two cats for half an hour, got off the bus and went to the store, all while enjoying the sun. I got out of the store and it was a storm without limit, like there were thunder, windy and the rain was so heavy it was hard to keep my eyes open. Did I dress for it? Nope! Wore jeans and a thin shirt instead. My mom thankfully works nearby so I could walk to her job and stay there so we could drive home together. If anybody wanna know what she works with, she works with candy, and she's allowed to bring candy home with her which isn't that great.

Thanks to this, I am now super sick, again, and we still have ants. Good times.

Hey guys!

Today I'm gonna share a very special page that I use all the time. It's Pexels.
Pexels is a free website where you can download pictures to use how you wish! With their Legal Simplicty you are able to use for all purposes, and edit the picture the way you want. The only thing that's not allowed is to use their pictures to make people appear in a bad light that can offend people, without their consent.
It's a great page, I use it all the time on this blog and I'm super happy. I'm not in any way sponsored, I just love it.

These are some of the pictures that I like and there's many, many more to chose from so go to Pexels to find your favorites!

Funny title, I know. It's a special event every year in the town I live in, where a (too) large group of people meet up, get drunk and listen to (bad) music. Not really my cup of tea but I went today for the first time, brought my mom and we left roughly 10 minutes later. Super not so fun.
I woke up crazy late today so I haven't gotten anything done at all. At least nothing that I should be doing anyways. Besides Kul-i-Juli, mom and me went to a mall and then drove around and that's about it.

And what's new besides my lazy day? Nothing much, I think I'm losing my mind a little bit but that's nothing new. I am currently working on a horror story, I don't know if it's gonna be a long or a short story yet, but I'm currently trying to come up with different monsters for the story, which means that I am trying to imagine the scariest of the scary monsters and then imagine how I would react if I found one in my house and that is messing me up. I should probably let the story go but I love it and I've been working on it for so long. I'll tell you about it a little more sometimes soon.

How have you all been? Since this blog is new (reborn), I would love it if you guys wrote and told me what kind of content you'd like me to provide! And also, follow me on twitter or instagram (upper right corner, I follow back), and don't forget to ask me on ask.fm!

Hey guys!

So this page just got a massive makeover and I'm so, so happy so far. What's new? Obviously the language first of all! This page used to be in Swedish but I've always loved the English language and most of what I write is in English so this seems like a step in the right direction. However, I am far from flawless so I apologise in advance if my grammar fails me.
Second; there's now a "More" button! It wasn't there before, but it basically consist of a page about me (because why not narcissism), there's a page with a bunch of helpful links, whether it's for building your own webpage, writing a book or some other weird stuff I can find. And also a page where you can download different writing tools etc.

I've tried to hide any clues that this page used to be in Swedish, but if there's something you don't understand or just want to mention it so that I can fix it, feel free to contact me on email or under "Contact me".

So yeah, first post is finally done (it's been hanging over me for awhile because I didn't know what to write), and now I can relax and we can return to the usual semi-boring posts about my dogs and my not so super awesome writing skills.

If you're a new reader, welcome, and if you're an old reader, welcome back!

I'm a 24 year old woman born and living in Helsingborg, Sweden.
On this blog I focus a lot writing; writing my stories, helping you write your stories as well as some book-/movie reviews that I feel fit in here. Other than literature, I also write about my personal life, my opinions on news and pictures of my dog.
As someone struggling with Bipolar Disorder type 2, I also post about mental health.

I would describe myself as too honest, complains a lot, and write long posts.
